Listened to my concerns, I was treated with respect and dignity at all times. He gave me options and provided me with information to read through and research. I ultimately opted for surgery and have not regretted it for one moment since (despite negative media coverage of similar procedure) I had complete faith in hiscompetence and felt prepared and educated.

Found Mr Fiadjoe to be very professional and approachable. I felt quite anxious prior to my appointment and happily he was able to put me at my ease. Did not feel rushed during my consultation and time was taken to explain all questions that I had and others that he felt were relevant to my issues.

I had a operation in the ladies dept and Dr Fiadjoe explained everything clearly so I understood the pros and cons and what procedures were available. I decided on the less invasive option as a day care patient and it went brilliantly. Some two months on. I am so glad I had the operation and my decision and the hospital care was brilliant. Even after getting a bladder infection the hospital were able to see me straight away the next day at the hospital and dealt with me ASAP.

After years of numerous visits to different doctors and specialists It was great to meet Mr Fiadjoe and finally realise my symptoms were not in my head. Up to me now to put in the work with the Physiotherapist and try to prevent or at least delay any surgery that may be needed in the future. Thank you very much , at last I feel optimistic about my quality of life and will not hesitate to return to see him if needed. Prolapse is a taboo subject and rarely spoken about, so many women suffer in silence. It would be nice if after giving birth we were told about our precious pelvic floor muscles and how to look after them properly or automatically sent to a Physiotherapist to learn. It would save the NHS fortunes if women were armed with the knowledge to help themselves.
